The Raisin Meditation
This was pretty cool...
One of the first Mindfulness Meditations I listened and followed along to was called "The Raisin Meditation", and it kinda blew my mind.
The basic idea is that you take a loooooooonnnnngggg time to eat a single raisin.
I'm talking like, I spent 5 minutes with a raisin in my mouth before I completely swallowed it!
You might want to try this out sometime.
It offers a unique perspective on food and the savage activity we often call "eating".
You can also explore what it's like to regard something as if it were your first time experiencing it.
Can you be like a child again, holding and tasting your first raisin?
